One of the Black Rebels Motorcycle Club in The Wild One (1953), ready for a beer & a riot in Bleekers Bar in drab, constipated Wrightsville, an archetypal American everywhere town, filled with simpleminded squares that in 2008 still don’t understand anything, much less the romantic, piratical mix of revved engines, heavy leather & shining vasolined hair. Bravo! Let’s see who’s fastest! Then let’s fight Brando just for the hell of it
